Where Did the Weekend Go???

Man oh man does time fly! I have all these great ideas on what to do on my weekends off, and somehow, someway...they never happen!!
This weekend was FULL!! Friday night I had softball games at 6:30pm and 7:30pm. I ended up staying out at the fields with Christy until 11pm. I was soooo tired by the time I got home!! I arranged for Christy to pick Bird up at 10am on Sat. I had to go help the daycare put together the new enormous playground!! It's huge!!
Christy and Lisa picked Bird up and she was rarin to go!! She was so excited to get to hang out with the girls!! I could barely get her to tell me bye!! So once she was out of sight, I headed to Kurt's domain...the garage...to gather up some tools!! (I now know fully where all the money goes!!) Kurt came over after he got off work and we stayed until almost 8pm. It's still not complete, but we got a lot accomplished with the little help we had! I had to pick Bird up from my mom, because that's where Christy dropped her off at seeing as we were still being little worker bees, and she already had plans for the evening.
Not surprising at all.....Bird had not napped all day!! Is that a joke??? Nope!! She was exhausted. On top of all that she had a cough and a runny nose. I think it's allergies, because this am she was feeling much better, and the cough comes and goes. We will continue to keep our eye on it, so it does not get any worse.
Today...well today was lazy day for Mama and Bird! We stayed in our PJ's all day long! It was so nice to not have to worry about anything! Kurt got home and wanted to mow...(yes I say wanted, you just have to know my husband...Green Thumb is an under statement!!). Bird and I went out onto the deck and watched Daddy mow. She loves being outside!! Then we came in and I caught a few moments with the camera.
She loves her pups!! Bird and Daddy escaped to Home Depot for a new swing for our swing set in the back yard. Hunter will be here all this week and we wanted him to have a new swing! Now we are all settled in, Bird is down for the count, I am getting my computer time, and the Husband....well the Husband is out building something!! I'll find out what and snap a few pics!! :)

Belly Button Be Gone!!!

Goose had her hernia surgery done last week.  I was a complete wreck.  I know it isn't invasive, however it's still your baby going under anesthesia.   We had to be at Children's at 1:30 for check in.  Goose had no idea what was going on.  She was just as happy s can be.  It was just Goose, myself and Daddy, Nana picked Bird up from school and was keeping we busy until we were home.   When they called us back she got all her vitals checked and was a champ.  We changed her into a gown and she got to play while I spoke with the nurse, anesthesiologist, and the surgeon.  When the nurse told me that they would most likely intubate her, tears just rolled down my face.  In my line of work...intubation is never good, it's a way to sustain life.  I know that in this case it's just a way to know for sure they don't stop breathing during the procedure. The Surgeon came by to see us before and let us know what would be happening.  We work...

Fun with Friends!!

Nothin says fun like a little splash park fun with friends!!  Myself and the girls along with Tracy and Dalton made it to the park at about 11:15am and then we were joined by Russ and Austin, Aimee, Matters, Johnna and her girls!!  We were there for about 2 hours and they all had a great time!!!  Goose just loved it!  Walked ALL over!!  Gonna hit the park up again tomorrow with Aunt Tt, Brody, Nana and Little Man!!  Can't wait!!  We love all this outside time!!

Baby Bird turns 16

I'm still not sure how our first baby girls is 16!  I remember not only her birth story, but I remember loving being pregnant with her so much.  Except the heart burn, I could have done without that!   Beautiful Bird you have become such an awesome young lady.  One that I am blessed to be your Mama.  Your love of life truly shines through in any and all settings.  People are drawn to you for your huge heart and understanding ways.  You make friends easily, and teachers and coaches adore you for the hard worker you are, but mostly because you are a true team mate.   I love how close we are, and how close you are to your sisters.  The moments when we just get to hang out and talk life or not even talk at all and just enjoy each others company are some of my most favorite times.   I love when you get excited about things or when something really makes you laugh, I wish I could bottle that joy up and keep it forever.   We are ...
