The Husband and I decided to treat little Bird to her 1st Circus for being such a big girl. She has totally kicked the bink, and has done a great job of potty training, only having a rare accident here or there. It just amazes me how big my baby is.
We picked up little man, and left Goose home with Nana since this was Birds treat. We talked about all the animals and things we would be seeing at the circus. The kiddos were sooo excited. Little man was so cute, he said, "this is my first time, and ta-dences first time". We got downtown and there were parents and children everywhere. I love the feel of all the excitement in the air.
Once inside we went straight for the souvenir stand. Nana gave each kiddo $20 dollars to buy something special from the circus. Little Man picked a large rubber elephant, while Bird got a light up spinning toy. I knew right then that she was going to want that elephant by the end of the night, but she insisted on the light up toy. Needless to say those two things took all their money! lol. They must make a killing at these events.

We found our seats and the Circus was soon to be well on it's way. They both loved the elephants. I think it was their favorite part. At some points in the show they had a few stages going, and I think for their little minds was a bit to much stimulation. As the circus was coming to an end, you could tell the kids were getting restless, so we were glad to see the last act. We clapped and said our goodbyes to the Circus.
As we left the parking garage we accidentally got turned around, and I am sooo glad we did. We came up on the circus elephants being lead through downtown to the train station where they would be loaded in to head toward their next destination. It was simply amazing how soft those huge animals walked. It was neat to see all the on lookers, but yet you could here a pin drop. This might have been the best part of the circus!! :)
Once they arrived at their destination, we decided to head home. The kiddos had a great time, and it was great getting Bird out on her own....well with her old sidekick Little Man.
