Sunday Funday at Louisburg Cider Mill!!

This weekend was sooo nice!  I had photo shoots on Sat., and the girls were both a bit under the weather Friday evening, so when Sunday rolled around and they both were back to their normal selves, we knew we were getting out!!

Bird was begging to see Little Man, so I phoned up my little Bro and we asked to come take him away for a few hours!  Of course he said sure!  :)  Oh man was Bird excited!  Little Man was as well....how do I know this???  Little Brother called and said..."seriously...are you close, because this kid is killin me....he wants to go wait outside for you"!  When we pulled up, he had the biggest grin I had ever seen!  So cute!  It means the world to me when I know that he is super excited to see us!!  We love that little guy to pieces I tell ya!

He jumped in the car and away we went!  It was about a 30-35 min car ride.  We pulled in, and wow there was a lot of people.  So I loaded all three kiddos on the stroller, and pushed them to the front.  They unloaded like lightning when they saw all the things to do.  We rode the pony's first.  I gotta tell ya...."a bit of a joke"...okay a BIG joke.  There were 6 pony's all attached to a little circle corral in which the kids got like 4 laps around all for the cheap price of.....$5!!  HA!!  Of course I was a sucker and paid it.  How could I not.  What kid doesn't see a pony and want to ride??  Deanna Rose is soooo much better for pony rides that's for sure!!  :)
Next stop....face painting.  This was my favorite part by far!  Heck I should have had her do mine.  This lady was amazing!!  Bird went first and got a tiger....Little Man had a shark in mind....then he saw hers and wanted the same thing!!  They both were so great!!  They sat still like little angels!  It was  so much fun looking at them the rest of the day!  They just loved it!!  I was worried Goose wouldn't like it.  She's not big on things in her hair, around her neck, so maybe next time we will try something small!!  She was having the time of her life just listening to the music and people watchin....just like her Mama!!
After we got their faces painted, we went and got some apple cider, and some of there famous donuts!!  YUMMMM!!  We played on the hay, and in the pumpkins for just a bit.  By then Mommy was BROKE!!  However, I was able to find another few bucks to let them go on one more bounce house maze!!  They all had such a great time.  It really was a great day!!
I ADORE this time of year!!  Can't wait for the pumpkin patch!!  Whoooohoooo!!

Belly Button Be Gone!!!

Goose had her hernia surgery done last week.  I was a complete wreck.  I know it isn't invasive, however it's still your baby going under anesthesia.   We had to be at Children's at 1:30 for check in.  Goose had no idea what was going on.  She was just as happy s can be.  It was just Goose, myself and Daddy, Nana picked Bird up from school and was keeping we busy until we were home.   When they called us back she got all her vitals checked and was a champ.  We changed her into a gown and she got to play while I spoke with the nurse, anesthesiologist, and the surgeon.  When the nurse told me that they would most likely intubate her, tears just rolled down my face.  In my line of work...intubation is never good, it's a way to sustain life.  I know that in this case it's just a way to know for sure they don't stop breathing during the procedure. The Surgeon came by to see us before and let us know what would be happening.  We work...

Baby Bird turns 16

I'm still not sure how our first baby girls is 16!  I remember not only her birth story, but I remember loving being pregnant with her so much.  Except the heart burn, I could have done without that!   Beautiful Bird you have become such an awesome young lady.  One that I am blessed to be your Mama.  Your love of life truly shines through in any and all settings.  People are drawn to you for your huge heart and understanding ways.  You make friends easily, and teachers and coaches adore you for the hard worker you are, but mostly because you are a true team mate.   I love how close we are, and how close you are to your sisters.  The moments when we just get to hang out and talk life or not even talk at all and just enjoy each others company are some of my most favorite times.   I love when you get excited about things or when something really makes you laugh, I wish I could bottle that joy up and keep it forever.   We are ...
