A dedication to 2 Amazing Women in my life...

I know the tears will flow as I try and write this blog.  I am happy and sad all at once.  I am so very excited that the Husband and I are at a point in our lives where we are able to make some pretty awesome life decisions.  Now that I am working part time doing what I love....I will also be able to take my girls out of daycare and keep them home with me Mon-Wed, and they will be home with Daddy Thurs-Friday while I am at work.  I can't wait to see what all we will learn and explore together.....
At the same time I am super super sad.  I have entrusted 2 women with my girls since Cadence was 6 months old.  They have done one amazing job at teaching and loving my girls like no other.  I have never dropped them off and thought to myself...will they be okay...NO, I know they will be GREAT!  With all the knowledge they have and the love for children, my girls were in the best hands possible...besides mine!
There were very few mornings that I could probably count on my left hand in the last three years that either one of my babies cried when Mommy left for the day.  It's a great feeling knowing your babies are safe and having a great time.

To Ms. Susi and Ms. Jayce-
Thanks you ladies for caring for my babies with all your heart and soul.  Thank you for keeping my babies safe while Mommy and Daddy were at work.  Thanks will NEVER be enough.  I only hope I can continue in your foot steps and instill all the knowledge and life skills my girls deserve to have.  I wish you both all the happiness in the world.  We love you like family and please know that when I say THANK YOU.....it's coming straight from my heart.  You two forever have touched all of our lives!!
With much love and complete gratitude,
(Just a little piece of their Thank You box we have for them tomorrow!!)

It is difficult to chose someone to be you when you can't be you! You know in the end that you made the right choice when it's even harder to say good-bye. I had these same feelings with Stacie when it was our last day there.

You'll do great with the girls and they'll love being able to stay home with you and with Kurt! I wish we had the ability to do the same thing! Best of luck in your new chapter!

Love you!

Belly Button Be Gone!!!

Goose had her hernia surgery done last week.  I was a complete wreck.  I know it isn't invasive, however it's still your baby going under anesthesia.   We had to be at Children's at 1:30 for check in.  Goose had no idea what was going on.  She was just as happy s can be.  It was just Goose, myself and Daddy, Nana picked Bird up from school and was keeping we busy until we were home.   When they called us back she got all her vitals checked and was a champ.  We changed her into a gown and she got to play while I spoke with the nurse, anesthesiologist, and the surgeon.  When the nurse told me that they would most likely intubate her, tears just rolled down my face.  In my line of work...intubation is never good, it's a way to sustain life.  I know that in this case it's just a way to know for sure they don't stop breathing during the procedure. The Surgeon came by to see us before and let us know what would be happening.  We work...

Baby Bird turns 16

I'm still not sure how our first baby girls is 16!  I remember not only her birth story, but I remember loving being pregnant with her so much.  Except the heart burn, I could have done without that!   Beautiful Bird you have become such an awesome young lady.  One that I am blessed to be your Mama.  Your love of life truly shines through in any and all settings.  People are drawn to you for your huge heart and understanding ways.  You make friends easily, and teachers and coaches adore you for the hard worker you are, but mostly because you are a true team mate.   I love how close we are, and how close you are to your sisters.  The moments when we just get to hang out and talk life or not even talk at all and just enjoy each others company are some of my most favorite times.   I love when you get excited about things or when something really makes you laugh, I wish I could bottle that joy up and keep it forever.   We are ...
